چکیده
Background. Careful consideration of an increasingly underprepared tertiary student population, the limited use simulation in South African (SA) healthcare education and a changing milieu is required from SA educators when implementing, evaluating revising integration.Objectives. To develop conceptual framework for integration undergraduate physiotherapy programme.Methods. A non-experimental descriptive research design was used. purposive sample 15 educationalists abroad were approached to participate modified Delphi survey, informed by results obtained systematic review identifying elements. Data analysed as percentages, with feedback provided panel members following each round.Results. saturation achieved after round 3, response rate 73.3% (n=11). The main findings suggested that preparation prior simulation-based learning experiences (SBLEs) should include orientation SBLE logistics expectations (73%), could informal assessment theory (64%). Inclusion feedback/debriefing process (82%), methods (100%) timing (85%) part educator also deemed essential. Panel agreed programme evaluation line stakeholder (92%) vital guiding adjustments integrating simulation.Conclusion. developed indicates necessity ensure optimal participation outcome achievement. Programme sustainability be ensured through adjustment, feedback, best practice accrediting professional body guidelines.

متن کاملIntegration of FEA Simulation Technology into the Undergraduate Curriculum
FEA-based simulation has become an integral part of engineering practice. Sophisticated FEA software such as ANSYS are used in industry for the design and analysis of complex engineering systems. However, the use of such software in the undergraduate mechanical engineering curriculum has been limited so that students are not prepared adequately to make appropriate use of these powerful tools. A...

The utility of point of care ultrasound training during medical school is becoming more and more evident. At the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, we have formally integrated ultrasound education into the curriculum of all four years. Exposure begins in the first few months of Year 1 and takes form in a variety of educational mediums through Year 4. Whether students receive training thr...

The process of revising the Belgian Nursing Minimum Dataset (B-NMDS) started in 2000 and entailed four major phases. The first phase (June-October 2002) involved the development of a conceptual framework based on a literature review and secondary data analysis. The Nursing Interventions Classification (NIC) was selected as a framework for the revision of the original B-NMDS. The second phase (N...

There is an increasingly growing trend towards integrating scientific research training into undergraduate medical education. The importance and compulsoriness of this trend has been greatly highlighted at the Boyer Commission on Educating Undergraduates in the Research University. Despite the importance and benefits of undergraduate research, attempts of medical schools to encourage undergradu...
